Data Product Manager

At Citymapper we build great products to help millions of people every day by simplifying urban transport and making cities usable. Data quality and tooling is at the core of our mission.

We're looking for a talented individual to join us as a Product Manager to take our data quality to the next level.

You will be constantly improving our data pipeline and warehouse, building tools to validate and clean (often messy) public and private transport data and developing innovative solutions to curate and interpret data at scale.

You will work closely with our team of top data engineers and data analysts across the globe to resolve challenging data issues such as: capturing traffic disruptions from official and unofficial data sources, creating and maintaining digital twins of >50k train stations, keeping public transport schedules of >100k bus and rail routes updated daily and validating parking spots for shared scooters in >100 cities (and counting).

• A true passion for building great products and top notch data quality
• A technical mindset with experience in handling massive datasets of various formats
• Excellent organisational, project management, and communication skills
• At least 3 years experience, preferably in a product or startup environment
• Some familiarity with common transit data formats or data-wrangling is a plus (GTFS, TransXChange, Siri, Hafas, JSON, XML etc)

We're hiring for our headquarters on the south bank of the Thames in London, but we are also willing to discuss remote working arrangements within the UK
