Job Location: Woodland Hills, CA

Role: Guidewire Product Specialist (Hands-on)

Work experience required: 4 – 12yrs

Skill set: Guidewire Policy Center

Must have skill:

• Experience with Guidewire required.

• Guidewire Configuration certification preferred.

• At least 4 years of experience participating in large Business Configuration efforts and being a member of a project team through all phases of the project lifecycle from scoping and planning, requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and go live.

• Must have at least 8 years of experience in custom software development projects.

• Strong GOSU, Java and Oracle/SQL background.

• Hands-on development expertise on Guidewire Policy Center 8 or above with configuration.

• Experience working directly with Guidewire Policy Center for Auto, Property, and/or Umbrella

• Ability to work on Guidewire Policy Center Configuration and Rating.

• Configuration Lead with at least 4+ years of Policy Center Configuration experience. The Guidewire Configurator should have a strong background in software development with a minimum of 8 years web-based Java development experience including at least 4 years in a Guidewire based application.

• Candidate must have a strong understanding of open systems architecture including integrations with vendor packages, relational databases, message queues, web services and legacy systems.

Good to have:

• Experience with configuring SPLUNK Dashboard

Responsibilities:

• Understand the interface requirements and configuration architecture.

• Create Design Document for the configuration and rating.

• Configure the application points as per specification using Guidewire or J2EE components.

• Perform code review, and shake down test and deliver.

• Ability to collaborate with peers and project teams on complex projects and issues progress and provide status reports to management.

• Work in Agile environments
