Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Software development experience coding with Swift.
  • Ability to speak and write in English fluently.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience setting technical direction and collaborating with other technical teams.
  • Experience in API design, performance optimization, client architecture, or tools in the mobile space.
  • Experience with HealthKit.
  • Experience with JavaScript.

On the Fitbit research team, you will help the team design, prototype, and launch mobile applications that will make a difference in the consumer health space.

Responsibilities

  • Write mobile applications, create robust high-volume production applications, and develop prototypes quickly.
  • Lead designs for major mobile components and features.
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance mobile software solutions.
  • Ensure a high level of quality implementing unit and integration tests as well as other mobile software architecture best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new features and products.
