In this role, you have the opportunity to

Join a dynamic software test engineering team as a Software Test Engineer to verify patient monitors.

You are responsible for

• Reviewing product specifications/requirements and designs from a test point of view and providing feedback to the relevant designer/customer
• Designing, executing and archiving test concepts & test cases, and reporting deviations from expected results
• Reporting of test progress to the Test Lead and/or the designated Test Coordinator

You are a part of

A global team that is responsible for software and system testing for the business of Hospital Patient Monitoring, located in Germany, Shanghai and Shenzhen. We are in total 44 people, of whom 4 managers and 40 software and system testers.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

• Bachelor/ Master in Software Science, Computer Science, (Bio-)Medical Engineering or equivalent degree in a scientific/engineering discipline.
• 2+ years of experience in a testing engineering role beyond the educational qualification.
• Evidence of testing engineering systematic foundation. This includes but is not limited to software testing relationship with Design Control Process, Standard and Regulatory, bug defect tools.
• Working knowledge of tools and processes related to software baseline management, traceability, version control and defect tracking.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional, cross-discipline environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin.
• Self-starter, willing and able to quickly learn new applications and technologies
