Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

• Experience working with AI/ML technologies and demonstrated experience in applying AI/ML capabilities to real world problems
• Experience with building machine learning models, data pipelines, and feature engineering
• Experience working in a business development role

Preferred qualifications:

• MBA or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Experience in qualifying and structuring complex business engagements that rely significantly on Cloud and AI/ML technologies
• Experience managing multiple competing priorities in an ambiguous environment
• Ability to interact with diverse technical and non-technical groups, spanning all organizational levels, and to deal with ambiguity and thrive in a rapidly changing environment
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills

As a Business Development Manager for Google's AI Services group, you will have the opportunity to build innovative customer programs that are focused on Google's machine learning solutions. Google's AI Services is focused on partnering with leading enterprises in order to apply machine learning to solve complex business challenges.

You will be working directly with executives and customers to identify the biggest opportunities, understand technical requirements, assess potential business impact as well as alignment with Google's overall priorities and principles. You will drive leads forward from initial scoping to term sheet and closing the agreement.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with leading customers and enterprises to identify the biggest customer pain points that can be addressed through Google's AI/ML capabilities.
• Shape, scope, and structure transformational programs that will deliver outstanding impact to enterprises and leverage the best of Google Cloud AI/ML.
• Craft statements of work and term sheets, leveraging the best of Google and internal teams, to structure engagements in a successful way.
• Represent Google Cloud and AIS in executive level conversations and frequently at C-level; be comfortable working with enterprise leadership and advising/shaping/structuring programs that drive outstanding customer impact.
• Drive the opportunity pipeline forward, identify and resolve blockers, provide weekly updates on pipeline progress to executive management.
