About the role

We are hiring an Executive Recruiting Associate for our Executive Recruiting team. In this role, you will support executive hiring by creating and executing research strategies designed to identify quality candidates. You will also conduct in-depth competitive and marketplace research to inform Chime’s executives about the current hiring and landscape. This is a crucial position supporting Chime’s continued growth. This position is ideally located in our San Francisco office.

This job cannot be performed in the state of Colorado.

In this role, you can expect to

• Identify prospective candidates through targeted company research, industry sources, relevant prior searches, networking, and internal sources.
• Create and maintain lists of target companies in FinTech, Consumer Technology, and other relevant industries.
• Stay abreast of trends and new technologies for sourcing and research.
• Attend intake and update meetings with Chime executives and provide market insight.
• Create and update status reports and market feedback reports.

To thrive in this role, you have

• A minimum of 1 year professional experience (research experience a plus) OR completed an internship with a recruiting, talent intelligence, or investment firm.
• Strong communication skills.
• A structured and detail oriented approach to your work.
• A deeply curious nature. You have been known to scour the internet to figure out the answer to a question or how something works. Some folks may have even told you you could be a private detective.
• Creativity and an ability to grasp new concepts quickly. When someone is stumped on a problem you have come to the rescue more than once.
• A team oriented and collaborative mindset. You know that the best work gets done through a team.
• Maturity and judgment. We work with confidential information and support critical hiring initiatives.
