Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in AdTech or MarTech solution selling, feature-driven media sales, or enterprise software selling.
  • Ability to speak and write in English and German fluently.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in the Ad/MarTech market (buy or sell side, agency, consultant, or advertiser) including direct experience in the use of data-driven buying or analytics instruments.
  • Experience in working with multilevel client sales situations and driving sales through relationships.
  • Knowledge of the DACH/German MarTech/AdTech and media markets and advertiser needs.
  • Proven ability to develop existing relationships and business, develop new business models with partners, and grow new product sales with the partners.
  • Strategic thinking skills, with the ability to make long-term impactful changes to meet strategic needs within the market and partner ecosystem.

Using your relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Google's key clients and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.

As a Sales Manager, you will own a core role in making the data-driven marketing transformation happen together with our partners. You will be responsible for working closely with the wider Google Germany, Austria, and Switzerland (DACH) Sales teams, Dublin Account Management teams, central global Go-To-Market, and Global Partner Management teams for promoting our Google Marketing Platform (GMP), innovative maturity projects, or extended workforce services via our fast growing partner network in DACH. In this role, you will act as a critical leader in managing our complex and dynamic partner relationships focusing on privacy solutions. You will contribute to the further evolution of the partner program, the GMP product strategy, and contribute to or lead core regional privacy initiatives.

Your focus is to help turn innovation into complete, packaged tools that allow our customers to get the most that they need from our products. As part of the Global Solutions team, you'll help to ensure that Google has adopted the right strategy for our products. Working in one of three specialized areas – Performance, Brand, or Publisher & Platform – you'll use your expertise to help front-line Sales partners to work their magic quickly and effectively. You are passionate about all things digital, and want to help shape the world of online advertising.

Responsibilities

  • Cover the complete and growing Google Marketing Platform product and services range as a partner manager where it contains or touches privacy relevant functionality.
  • Consult partners on capabilities needed for the privacy forward transformation, train and grow the partner excellence in what the platform can do as an enabler.
  • Engage directly with privacy-dedicated counterparts at customers, (i.e. Privacy Specialists). Understand the privacy approach by local competitors.
  • Ensure service quality to partners with the internal and vendor teams. Work on ongoing improvement of account management and establish scaleable service best practices in order to drive our privacy proposition.
  • Be the main person of contact with Go-To-Market Ads Privacy team and partner with them internally on strategy localization (i.e. anticipating the impact of local regulatory developments and customer behavior).
