About the role

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, thoughtful and organized coordinator to join our Chime’s Engineering Services group. This person will help execute on the day-to-day needs of initiatives driven through Engineering Services, including scheduling, closing communication loops and streamlining processes.

Engineering Services is an internal service provider to the broader technology organization. Our teams provide services ranging from the deeply technical to the people-focused, including incident response, mentorship programs and new hire onboarding.

As our Engineering Services Coordinator, you’ll work closely with Engineering Services managers to administer and coordinate several of our programs. In addition, you’ll have the opportunity to identify gaps and bottlenecks, and work to brainstorm and improve processes.

This role cannot be performed in the state of Colorado.

In this role, you can expect to

  • Schedule new hire engineer onboarding sessions and coordinate participation of onboarding session presenters, hiring managers and new hires.
  • Write operational documentation like program overviews and checklists for supporting our programs
  • Scheduling Incident Reviews, follow up with teams & managers on review progress and completion
  • Monitor Slack to direct Chimers to Engineering Services documentation and teams
  • Run surveys to collect feedback

To thrive in this role, you have

  • Worked with engineering organizations in a support capacity such as an executive assistant or operations role
  • Experience working as part of a fully distributed team or organization
  • A knack for making participation easy for stakeholders with very busy schedules and shifting priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with team members, engineering managers, engineers and cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency with GSuite
  • Interest in learning new technologies like Airtable.
