【JOB SUMMARY】

Amazon is quickly disrupting the retail business. It becomes increasingly challenging to navigate through myriads of business metrics and make decisions at required pace. Predictive analytics and automation becomes crucial for Vendors to stay competitive on the platform and drive sustainable sales growth.

The Global Amazon team at Philips is looking to hire a dedicated Data Scientist to enhance our analytics E2E value chain through building predictive analytics capabilities. The core remit of this role is to translate ambiguous business questions and concerns into specific quantitative questions, specify data requirements and use sound methodologies to deliver actionable insights and foresights.

【KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY 】

•Understand key drivers and impacts on business growth dynamics on Amazon platform

•Collaborate with global analytics and business teams to create a roadmap of the most challenging business questions, use data to articulate possible root cause analysis and solutions

•Run regular cadence and ad hoc deep dives, root cause analysis and modeling to come up with business recommendations. Track implementation and business impact

•Collaborate with analytics team to standardize and automate repeatable analysis data collection and reporting in a form of self-service tools

•Strive to enhance accuracy of datasets and scale analytics solutions through automation

•Find new ways to improve our analytics capabilities and prove added business value

•Forecast the sales and control AOP and actual. If any gap, provide ideas for gap closure

•Analyze the data provided by Amazon and discuss to improve sales efficacy.

-Fully utilize Amazon One Dashboard

-Understand and track major KPIs

-Analyze trend and its rationale

-Develop countermeasures for any gap

【求めるスキル・経験/人物像】

•We are looking for a candidate with 5+ years of experience in Business analytics including Digital and E-commerce, who has attained a Graduate degree in Computer Science, Economics, Statistics, Informatics or another quantitative field

•Data/business analytics experience at Amazon Retail in the market or global roles, and demonstrable understanding of business drivers on Amazon platform is required. Knowledge of Amazon Retail Analytics datasets is a plus.

•Thorough understanding of the global and local marketing, sales and operations processes

•Maintain high level of trust and integrity under strict confidentiality

•A strategic planner with sound technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment and strong operational focus on getting things done

•3+ years of hands on experience with statistical analysis

•Advanced Microsoft Excel and Power Point skills. Experience with QlikView/QlikSense is a plus

•Experience with data querying languages (e.g. SQL) and scripting languages (e.g. Python) is a plus

•Experience in building or defining requirements for Machine Learning predictive/prescriptive analytics solutions is a plus

•Experience in lean methodology is a plus

【試用期間】試用期間あり(原則として入社日より6ヶ月)

【就業場所】品川本社(東京都港区港南)

※ただし、リモートワークも組み合わせながら勤務いただきます。

【就業時間】9:00-17:30 休憩時間:原則として12:00-13:00

【休日】毎週土(所定休日)/日曜日(法定休日)、国民の祝日、年末年始(12月29日-1月4日)

【休暇】初年度最大20日間の有給休暇あり(入社月によって変動あり)、Care Leave(年間10日間付与)、Sick Leave ほか

【時間外労働】あり 月20-40時間相当

※管理職以上の場合は、深夜勤務手当のみ支給

【給与】 月給 49万円-66万円

【賞与】インセンティブ

※インセンティブは、四半期ごとに支給。ただし、会社業績、部門業績、個人評価によって変動して支給されます。

※年度途中入社者は対象期間中日割計算あり
