This is a remote position; the selected candidate can reside and perform the work from anywhere within the United States.

Roles and Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support both internal and external clients.
  • Support business development and future projects to further unlock EV enterprise value.
  • Lead any future IT development work or enhancements to the EV data product
  • Support data analytic solutions
  • Oversee data quality processes, ensuring the highest level of data quality, continuity, and accuracy.
  • Resolve data issues with IT, and lead root cause analysis and testing
  • Deliver presentations and training related to the EV data platform.
  • Work closely with the business teams and IT to ensure alignment of data definition
  • Define and maintain business terms, definitions, and quality standards
  • Coordinate with data governance to ensure solutions follow all pertinent policies to ensure data is appropriately accessible, consistent, secure and of high quality

Additional Job Description

Required Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a system analysis field including: Information Technology, Engineering, Management Science, Mathematics.
  • Skilled in data management & integration tools, SQL, and Excel.
  • 4 years Data related experience in Data Analytics, Data Mapping and/or Data Quality.
  • High level of sound logic and analytical ability where problems are unusual and difficult.
  • Solid attention to detail.
  • Proactive work style; desire to take on additional responsibilities
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Research or experience in data analysis where problems are poorly defined, complex and cross functional and possess uncertainties and multiple objectives.
  • Ability to effectively interact with cross functional teams.

  • Background in data monetization and/or data value capture

Other Desired Qualifications:

  • Development experience with Python, Java, Scala, C#, SQL
  • Experience with parallel processing using Spark or equivalent
  • Experience with Greenplum, Hive/Hadoop, Teradata, Oracle, or equivalent
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent
  • Understanding of GM vehicle products & configurations
  • Experience with vehicle products preferably EV

Compensation:

The median level of salary compensation for this role is $109,000.

Bonus Potential:

An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.
