Job Description BAE Systems has an immediate need for a Government Reporting/CSDR Project Manager. BAE Systems is a leader in the industry and this position is not location restricted.
Responsible for driving consistent application of the comprehensive Cost and Software Data Reporting (CSDR) process throughout Combat Mission Systems (CMS). Brings project management and Subject Matter Expertise (SME) to the program execution teams and fosters professional and effective relationships with internal and external customers. Ensure BAE Systems submittals are compliant with government reporting requirements. Includes establishing effective internal mechanisms for content quality and completeness, tracking all contract deliverables to facilitate schedule adherence, and continuous improvement of the processes and tools. Act as the SME for CSDR across the business and throughout the lifecycle of programs.
Responsible for project management of contract deliverables to enable the execution team’s ability to successfully deliver a quality, on-time CSDR. This includes collaborating with program execution teams to understand contract deliverables, build critical working relationships, establish schedules to drive on-time delivery, and influence deliverable quality through internal reviews and data analysis.
Responsible for developing analytics around cost/metrics for business benefit and improved deliverable quality as the process and data stabilizes and ensuring consistent application. Initial focus will be CSDR but will expand to other reporting needs as CSDR stabilizes.
Strong customer relationships will be critical for this role. Responsible for developing relationships with the customer program office to improve mutual understanding and influence CDRL acceptance and external oversight organizations (ex. CAPE, DCMA) to influence broader policy.

Required Skills:
  • Ability to develop and maintain professional and effective relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Demonstrated effective planning, execution management, and organization skills
  • Ability to make decisions using sound judgment while complying with policies, procedures, appropriate principles and applicable state and federal laws and regulations.
  • Ability to apply critical thinking to analyze data and report conclusions to drive effective decision making and business level change
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Sound interpersonal skills used when interfacing, coordinating, and negotiating with company personnel and customers.
  • Ability to use computers to prepare appropriate reports and documents.
Experience Requirements: Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent, plus at least 10 years work experience in relevant field. May substitute equivalent experience, training and/or certifications for the degree.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with Cost and Software Data Reporting (CSDR) and familiarity with all associated deliverables
  • Project management experience
  • Working knowledge of MIL-STD 881
  • Experience with and solid of understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM) concepts, processes, and tools
