Technical Product Owner - CX

About the role We are looking for a Product Owner with strong technical skills to take ownership of one of our products. We’ve hired some of the most talented developers and designers that the world of tech has to offer, and we’re keen to showcase their talent to the world - and that’s where you come in. Our team is highly technical and detail-oriented, and we love to get down into the nitty-gritty of our in-app processes to make the best possible experience. The Product Owner will be responsible for creating chargeback solutions which ensure a soft flow process to minimise further distress to our retail customers who have been subject to fraud, or when goods or services haven’t been provided after the customer has paid. Customer judgement is based on experience and in this case it can be traumatic, so Revolut has to ensure that necessary processes and tools are in place to mitigate any negative perception of the company, and to reassure customers that it is still safe to use our products. The solutions will mainly be achieved from the backend but with flavours of data science and UX. What you will be doing - You will own end-to-end one of our products - You will define product vision and strategy - You will be responsible for the automation of chargeback forms, chargeback Dante flows and integration of card schemes - You will be responsible for meeting KPIs, acceptable business debt and risk exposure - You will understand customer needs and gather product requirements - You will be managing a team of high-performing developers, a data scientist and an operations manager - You will take technical decisions together with the team What you will need - You will have a strong technical background and solid UX experience - You will have a proven track record of building customer-facing products - You will demonstrate empathy to the customer and factor this in to all your decisions - You are an expert problem solver - You have a strong understanding of card scheme rules and regulations - You will have strong backend experience and knowledge of data science A little about us...
