As a leader on our team, you’ll implement and maintain organizational programs in support of NASA mission and objectives across the Agency. You’ll collaborate with program leadership to review contracts, project cost accounting, and tactical planning, have regular interactions with customers, and lead a team of technical project leads, SMEs, and project analysts and coordinators. As a program specialist on our team, you will work closely with the Program Manager to oversee and administer all aspects of the Program, including: work closely with clients and project managers to develop scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives; work with project managers, pricing analysts, and contract/subcontract specialists to develop and deliver completed proposals and pricing; work with project managers to ensure successful completion of Program requirements and task execution; work with project managers and financial specialists to oversee budgets for delivering against established business goals/objectives; work with project managers and internal contract support roles to identify risks and opportunities across multiple capabilities/projects; analyze, evaluate, and resolve program risks; assess program performance to ensure achievement of goals/objectives, as well as identify areas for improvement.

You Have:

• 8+ years in program/project management role
• Experience with using Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to communicate and document complex processes and present information to senior management and clients in written and verbal forms
• Ability to obtain a security clearance
• BA or BS degree

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with NASA or other government agency
• Experience with contracts, particularly government contracting
• Ability to solve complex problems and identify improvements to internal processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness
• Possession of exceptional leadership, time management, facilitation, and organizational skills
• Program/Project certification
