Position Summary:

Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking a part-time Echocardiogram Technologist for our White Center Medical Clinic located in Seattle.

The Echocardiogram Technologist (Cardia Sonographer) is responsible for obtaining high quality recordings of ultrasound images of the hear and related structures to be interpreted by the Cardiologist. The echo tech will be tasked with completing resting echocardiogram and complete stress echocardiogram as required. This is a technical position requiring a highly skilled operator with knowledge of the various types of ultrasound procedures. Work situation may require clinical interpretive knowledge, independent judgment, initiative and ingenuity in performing procedures. This position will interact with patients, family members, and physicians as well as schedulers, MA's and cardiologist on staff.

Education and/or Qualifications:

• Must be a graduate of a CAAHEP or CMA approved School of Diagnostic Ultrasound
• Must have equivalent amount of on the job training as outlined by ICAEL accreditation requirements.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred not required.
