We are looking for an experienced writer with a technical background to join our marketing team. As our technical writer, you'll create and manage a winning content production plan that builds awareness, captivates prospects, and helps customers succeed. You'll understand the challenges analytics professionals see day in and day out.

In this cross-functional role you'll work with designers, marketers, and analysts to define our technical data voice and bring it to life. In doing so, your words will touch every medium. This means everything from crafting the perfect error message to defining the messaging for a game-changing product launch.

• Develop technical marketing content, from ideation to execution to write, edit, repurpose and launch white papers, blogs, sales enablement, social media content, posts, website content, and other content types as assigned
• Represent the analytics point of view in technical content as a part of the marketing content strategy to increase pipeline and ARR
• Perform light data analysis to provide assets for content creation such as charts, graphics, and other data visualizations relevant to an analytics professional
• Stay current with data community and SaaS Industry trends and be an active participant at data community events online and in person
• Participate and represent the data point-of-view (POV) for all teams at Mode during projects, ensuring marketing deliverables are accurate, authentic, and speak to the data analyst persona
• Act as keeper of the analyst user perspective in the prospect and customer journey across all digital channels in demand generation

• A strong, dynamic writer with demonstrated ability to produce engaging, highly technical, content for B2B audiences
• Significant content development experience with exposure to, or experience in, data analysis and concepts using SQL, Python and R
• Proven track-record of producing ROI-positive content, ability to analyze data to demonstrate success
• Ability to balance speed and attention to detail
• Ability to connect and work well with cross-functional team members
• Love of the Oxford comma needed, desired, and required
