Manage the operational activities associated with clinical data collection for Galleri tests from patients not participating in other GRAIL-sponsored research. This includes identification of cases with Medical Science Liaisons (MSL) and other GRAIL staff, coordination of provider contact and follow-up, data collection and authentication, GRAIL clinical review of data for use in Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement (QA/QI), and management of project timelines and deliverables.

Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Data extraction of Galleri test cases from Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)
    • Coordination with MSL, Laboratory Customer Service, and Medical Directors for each Galleri test case
    • Ensure that data integrity (completeness, consistency, and accuracy of clinical data) is maintained throughout the data management process.
    • Maintains, updates, and may establish various databases for clinical tracking
    • Contact with provider and healthcare institution to obtain data for each Galleri test, and track status of communications with providers
    • Management of project timelines and deliverables
    • Works on problems of foundational scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors
    • Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action
    • Completes day-to-day work (e.g. preparing for meetings, scheduling with internal and external stakeholders) and projects with general guidance from team leads and managers

Minimum Requirements

    • 2+ years experience (4+ preferred) in clinical research with demonstrated foundational knowledge of clinical research and clinical data principles and concepts (e.g. clinical data acquisition, ensuring data quality, Good Clinical Practice)
    • 2+ years experience working with electronic data capture software systems such as Medidata Rave, Medrio, etc.
    • 2+ years experience in project management, including timeline management, tracking of large sets of information, and identification of risks to project goals
    • Demonstrated technical proficiency, scientific creativity, collaboration with others and independent thought
    • Demonstrated experience in working with multiple functions that are internal (clinical, software, Medical Affairs, etc.) and external (healthcare providers)
    • Experience with handling sensitive health information, including PHI
