About this Role

Because we can communicate well externally only if internal stakeholders are perfectly aligned, it is critical for the client perspective to be taken into account from the inception of any project, all the way through design, rollout, and communications. The Marketing Project Manager’s mission is to work with project owners to help accomplish tasks in a timely, coordinated manner while keeping clients in mind all the time. To achieve this mission, the manager will:

1) Plan and manage both marketing and select business development and internal communication projects according to predefined processes;

2) Communicate expectations to internal subject matter experts and other stakeholders; and

3) Coordinate execution in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with project owners to manage such initiatives as new collateral, research papers, blogs, webinars, email blasts, client alerts, newsletters, internal all-company meetings, etc.
• Use project management tools such as Asana to maintain an exhaustive top-level through granular view of all initiatives and communications over the coming months.
• Coordinate across marketing resources as well as research, portfolio management, process engineering, client experience, human resources, and information technology to ensure that impacts on internal client-facing teams and clients are taken into account on any project.
• Coordinate with client-facing teams to manage the content and time lines of client communications around any projects including new capabilities, changes in processes, etc.
• Identify and engage stakeholders, and serve as the liaison with marketing.
• Anticipate and manage issues and risks as they relate to clients, working with other project managers in the cases where a technology or business process changes.
• Work with human resources to implement internal communication projects such as all-company meetings.

Qualifications

• BS/BA-level degree, preferably in business management, marketing, or communications.
• Three to five years of experience in a client service, client communication, or project management role, with proven record of delivering a top-notch experience to the most demanding clients in a timely manner.
• Experience in the financial services industry, or a sector requiring high-touch service, is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with project coordination across teams.
• Strong organizational and project management skills with ability to see the big picture while having a strong hold on project components and their interdependencies.
• Great attention to details and deadlines.
• Ability to multitask efficiently across projects and help stakeholders remain on track.
• Effective communication skills to be heard and respected as the “client voice.”
• Strong interpersonal skills to engage efficiently with various stakeholders across Aperio.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and project management tools such as Asana or similar.
