Logistics Manager

Job Description

Description: The Logistics Manager will be responsible for scaling, and overseeing the logistics operations. The candidate will continuously iterate and improve on the process for receiving and sorting of packages, the overall material flow in the logistics hub, manage associates, and ensure on-time customer delivery of packages departing from the hub. Responsibility will also include defining and implementing standard work and route assignments for staff, handling disruptions, enforcing the highest standards for safety, and delivering results on agreed KPIs and goals for the operation.

Responsibilities

You will...

• Create a safety culture and ensure safe operations inside facilities and over the road
• Set clear operational goals and deliver results for safety, productivity, cost, quality, on-time delivery, and other agreed upon KPIs
• Ensure the security of all HelloFresh assets
• Own and deliver on a determined budget
• Use HelloFresh tech and systems to manage operations and routes
• Partner effectively with HelloFresh Logistics and other internal teams in meeting goals
• Quickly action issues in the field and exercise sound judgment in resolving operational problems
• Build a strong workplace culture and relationships with all staff, delivering on retention goals
• Continuously improve (and implement new) processes in the hub, working with all parts of the organization to operate a lean facility
• Support growth and scaling of the hub

You have...

• 5+ years’ experience managing operations for fulfillment, supply chain, logistics, or transportation companies
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, diploma or GED required
• Skilled in MS Office (Excel) or Google Suite
• Ability to learn and use new technologies
• Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Robust project management skills
• Strong communication skills to set direction, convey updates on issues, operational status and business drivers during daily/weekly stand-ups and leadership reviews
