Get to know the business:

• GrabFood is the fastest growing start-up business within Grab and is growing rapidly towards becoming the region’s #1 provider of food delivery services, conquering a trillion dollar market in the most exciting region in the world.

Get to know the role:

• You will need to provide excellent restaurant support to enable merchants to be onboarded at any point in time.
• You will keeping them engaged and tackle any issues they might have.
• You must have critical thinking in order to execute plan and strategies.
• You will be reporting to the Merchant Onboarding Lead, GrabFood Malaysia

The day-to-day activities:

• Provide a seamless onboarding experience for merchants
• Build, update systems and processes to enable merchants to be onboarded at any point in time
• Represent Grab in a professional manner with our merchants during onboarding phase.
• Be the subject matter expert on Grab products for merchants during the onboarding phase.
• Have a sense of urgency to bring integrations to the finish line.
• Enjoy problem solving and delighting our Merchants.
• Be highly organized and able to juggle between multiple priorities.
• Work closely with a team of Onboarding Specialists to create a seamless flow of work
• Provide support to Merchants.

The must haves:

• Diploma (or above) in Business/Management or equivalent (preferred but not mandatory)
• Years of experience: None - 2 years (Previous training experience is a plus, but not mandatory)
• Experience in the F&B industry / training is a plus
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Ability to speak in other dialects such as Mandarin/Cantonese is an added advantage.
• Attention to details, able to understand processes and adapt to tracking systematically and accurately
• Time- oriented, good management skills with ability to hit goals within set deadlines
• Visionary, self-motivated, and passionate on exceeding set goals
• Energetic, enthusiastic and calm even in a dynamic and fast paced environment
• A people person -- you love talking to people and guiding them on our product

This Data Protection Notice / Privacy Policy describes how GrabTaxi Holdings Pte Ltd (“Grab”) and its respective subsidiaries, associate companies and jointly controlled entities (“Grab Group”) uses your Personal Data.

“Personal Data” means information about you, from which you are identifiable, including but not limited to your name, identification card number, passport number, nationality, address, telephone number, race, gender, date of birth, marital status, resident status, education background, email address, your occupation, and any other information about you that has been or may be collected, stored, used and processed by Grab Group from time to time which may include sensitive personal data such as data relating to health, political, religious or other similar beliefs.

In some circumstances, you may have provided Personal Data relating to other individuals (such as your referees) and in such circumstances you represent and warrant that you are authorized to provide their Personal Data to the Grab Group and you have obtained their consent for their Personal Data be processed and used in the manner as set forth in this Notice.

When the Personal Data requested through this tool is mandatory, you must provide and agree to the processing of this Personal Data by Grab Group. However, if you do not provide Grab Group your Personal Data, Grab Group will not be able to process your Personal Data for the purposes outlined below and your application may be rejected.

The information provided by you in your employment application will be stored in the GRAB Candidate Application Database. The purposes for which Grab Group processes your Personal Data are as follows:

1. To verify your identity;
2. To assess and/or verify your suitability and employability;
3. To contact you in respect of your application;
4. To perform other related activities (including surveying and research activities to improve Grab's recruiting processes);
5. To consider you for future potential opportunities and may include a link to your public social media profile(s) which you have authorized Grab to access by applying with a social media widget/button.

Your information will be accessed by Grab’s internal recruiters, hiring managers, potential managers in the hiring organization and the associated technical and human resources supporting staff. If you decide not to provide us with your personal data in any of the mandatory fields, we will not be able to continue with your employment application using this tool. If you are applying for a particular opening, the data controller/holder of your application information is your potential employer in the GRAB group and your information will be protected in accordance with local law applicable to your potential employer. If you are submitting your application for any open current or future positions, the data holder of your information will be GRAB group until your information is submitted to your potential employer for a vacancy.

Please note that Grab is a Singapore Corporation and while being the holder of your information it will be protected in accordance with Singapore Laws. By registering, you acknowledge and approve that your information may be processed by any member of the Grab Group for the purpose of evaluating your application for employment in the respective countries and performing any related activities. As such, your Personal Data may be transferred to, stored, used and processed in a jurisdiction other than your home nation or otherwise in the country, state and city in which you are present, to companies under Grab Group which are located outside of your home nation and/or where Grab Group’s servers are located outside of your home nation. You understand and consent to the transfer of your Personal Data out of your home nation as described herein. The supplied information will also be protected in accordance with Grab internal policies regarding employee privacy and data security.
