This is a Senior role in the UK Marketing Team responsible for driving deep engagement with our base of over 50,000 restaurants ensuring they flourish and grow on Just Eat.

Reporting directly into the UK Marketing Director, we need a strategic and results-driven individual who is passionate about marketing and has a deep understanding of how to leverage data to drive outstanding results.

You will be responsible for engaging with a restaurants and business that range from small independent startups to some of the biggest corporate organisations in the world, all with the same aim of building their business on Just Eat.

You will be responsible for the Partner Marketing strategy and will manage a team of experts to execute that strategy that includes engagement with partners, helping them to build commercial success on the Just Eat platform and ensuring that the Just Eat brand is prominent on every high street in the UK

You will be a key member UK Leadership Team and the Global Marketing team, with a focus on ensuring that the business over-achieves its targets across both its core marketplace and the delivery service it runs for the UK’s biggest brands

The role has several direct reports across a number of marketing disciplines, you will need to be an experienced people leader, capable of nurturing and developing our talent – whilst delivering high performance at pace..

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, inspire and motivate the UK Partner Marketing team, creating a high performing environment by setting expectations and goals, and providing direction to ensure achievement of goals.
  • Development and execution of our Partner Marketing strategy driving performance improvements, process enhancements and innovations within the team.
  • Own and deliver best in class communications across our UK restaurant base which enhances and strengthens our relationships with all our restaurant partners through their lifecycle by leveraging a segmented approach.
  • Managing our communication throughout the partner lifecycle on Just Eat from signup to onboarding and and beyond
  • Partner activation of key consumer marketing campaigns
  • Create a toolkit for restaurants that help them to build their business on Just Eat working closely and cross functionally with our Sales Account Management teams to execute the proposition across the estate.
  • Building a last mile branding strategy to increase Just Eat’s visibility on the High Street
  • Own partner marketing performance and effectiveness KPI’s, measures & reporting
  • Working with the Global Marketing team to develop a playbook of restaurant marketing
  • Working with the wider UK Marketing team and being an active member of the UK leadership community to deliver against our national and local goals and KPIs
  • Own the Partner Marketing Budget management and KPI reporting

Required skills and experience

  • An expert in communication with a proven track record of delivering results in large organisations
  • Strategically minded with the ability to roll up your sleeves and get stuck into the detail.
  • A strong work ethic and a proactive positive attitude.
  • An ability to juggle multiple priorities and experience in working with multiple stakeholders across different levels and different areas of the business.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise your workload.
  • Proven experience leading, managing, and retaining a team of exceptional talent as well as creating a culture of innovation, accountability, and a commitment to achieving results.
  • Excellent knowledge and expertise in executing and managing marketing and communication channels.
  • A deep understanding of consumer digital/online businesses.
  • A data-driven and customer-centric marketing approach.
  • Ability to frame and drive commercial and numerical analyses , negotiate complex deals, and turn these into concrete insights, actions, and business improvement opportunities.
  • Previous experience in leading and influencing teams.
  • Able to develop strong working relationships within and across multiple departments and/or functions within the company.
  • Relentless, results oriented, someone that wants to go the extra mile to get the job done.
  • Comfortably interacting with C-level stakeholders and throughout the organisation.
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity within a rapidly changing, fast paced environment.
  • Strong commercial instinct and entrepreneurial drive combined with ability to be creative, take initiative and take risks.
