Job Description
The Job WarnerMedia seeks a Cloud Engineer for the Privacy Engineering and Architecture Department. The role of the Cloud Engineer is to design, develop, implement and support our core enterprise solution offerings including WarnerMedia’s privacy compliance management suite, corresponding orchestration and integration services, APIs, reporting services, and integration with 3
rd party ID verification services . The Engineer is expected to demonstrate high level technical skills and will also be responsible for staying current on rapidly changing technologies.
The Daily - Collaborate with the Architect and other members of the Privacy CoE including privacy technology product leads and analysts to design and build applications for the privacy compliance management suite
- Build and enhance our current solution offerings related to Privacy Center, ID verification, reporting services and various OneTrust integration components
- Incorporate Privacy by Design (PbD) principles during the various stages of application design and build
- Build applications conforming to the CSO cloud baseline requirements
- Create design documentations
- Perform technical troubleshooting, incident and problem resolution for our core enterprise solution offerings
- Build and test pilot versions for new and changing services
- Build and Deliver based on Scrum/Sprint based agile development methodologies
- Identify new opportunities for privacy technology stack simplification and communicate to architects and key stakeholders
- Assist in go to market related efforts to drive successful adoption and usage of our privacy solutions
- Ongoing technical skillset and personal development, research and development.
The Essentials - 5+ years of engineering experience in an enterprise IT environment, having performed operational and break/fix activity along with engineering and design
- 4+ years of experience with AWS, including but not limited to experience with Lambdas, SQS, DynamoDB, RDS, API Gateway, S3, Cognito, Container services (ECS, EKS, Fargate), CloudWatch, CloudFormation, IAM, VPC
- Substantial experience with Python, NodeJS and other JavaScript frameworks
- Substantial experience with NoSQL and relational databases
- Substantial experience developing solutions leveraging serverless technology, API and services development
- Experience with APIM solutions (Azure APIM, MuleSoft etc.,) a plus
- Substantial experience with Jira, Confluence, GitHub and other development and collaboration tools
- Demonstrate strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Must be able to pay close attention to complex detail and understand written and oral instructions
- Must be able to organize and schedule work effectively
- Must be able to work well under time constraints
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks with changing priorities, communicating changes in scope and schedule to all parties concerned
- Must be service-oriented
- Must be able to work independently
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including possible overtime, when necessary
