Who you are Our Talent team is committed to ensuring brightwheel has the team in place to enable a high-quality early education for every child. We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Recruiter to join our growing Talent team. This individual will partner closely with our Engineering, Product and/or Design leadership and play a critical role in scaling these organizations. You will be a trusted thought partner to leaders across the company, diving deep to understand business needs and develop tailored recruitment strategies to fill critical roles. You are process-driven and detail-oriented, regularly analyzing data to identify opportunity areas and implement solutions. You are passionate about creating an unparalleled candidate experience and building a process that is inclusive, equitable, and enjoyable for every candidate. You are a driven team player, comfortable managing a full-cycle process across a mix of technical roles.
What you’ll do
- Serve as a trusted thought partner to business leaders to understand hiring needs, develop strategies, and drive creative approaches for recruiting top technical talent
- Build diverse pipelines of top talent by engaging passive talent and finding creative ways to market your roles and unlock referrals
- Create and run an efficient, equitable, and thoughtful process that balances rapid growth with maintaining a high bar for talent
- Utilize data to understand the pipeline and identify opportunities to strengthen your approach in filling each role
- Create a best-in-class candidate experience that focuses on inclusive recruitment and hiring practices
- Help us uplevel our Talent Team by building and sharing best practices for sourcing, hiring, and retaining great team members
Qualifications, skills, & abilities
- You’re an experienced full-cycle technical recruiter; technical sourcing experience is a plus
- You are an expert in hiring at the senior and leadership levels
- You are goal oriented, and strive to continuously raise the bar for yourself and your teammates
- You quickly build strong relationships and are a trusted thought partner to your hiring managers, including C-level executives
- You continuously seek ways to improve your hiring processes, drawing from data, candidate feedback, and intuition
- You care deeply about hiring diverse and inclusive teams, and building strategies that support and encourage those efforts
- You pride yourself on consistently running an excellent process for candidates and hiring managers
- You are an expert at building and managing diverse candidate pipelines via sourcing, referrals, and inbound strategies
Brightwheel offers a competitive compensation package (base salary, equity and benefits) with a strong emphasis on equity-based compensation (ownership in brightwheel). For cash compensation, brightwheel sets standard ranges for all roles based on function, level, and geographic location, benchmarked against similar stage growth companies. In alignment with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the annual cash compensation for this role in Colorado is targeted at $126,000-$149,000. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including geographic location as well as candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
