What you will achieve

Dialpad is looking for a Talent Operations Specialist to build and optimize a variety of processes and systems that are critical to our sustained growth. We are growing quickly and every day and week will look a little different depending on priorities and business needs.

Generally you will be responsible for managing, configuring and scaling our various talent systems & programs. You’ll optimize all of the meta-stages of our recruiting process to provide the most seamless and efficient user experience and deliver the highest degree of data integrity. You’ll get into the details and own our data input and output, by troubleshooting issues, validating results, and recommending system or process improvements. You'll also get to work on the people and process side of things, building processes that will increase recruiter effectiveness and enablement, enhance our partnership with the business or provide a more compelling candidate experience. This is a really impactful role that will put you in the unique position of preparing Dialpad for next generation growth.

To accomplish all of this you’ll collaborate seamlessly with a variety of cross functional stakeholders, developing fluid partnerships and shared processes with wide impact and adoption.

In your first 3 Months:

  • You’ll learn how our talent systems are configured (i.e., Greenhouse, Crosschq, HackerRank, LinkedIn, Gem), manage the day-to-day maintenance and advise the team. You’ll start to identify areas for system optimization and user training,
  • You will create and maintain organization of and access to all Talent team workflow documentation, process management, documentation, and training
  • You will partner closely with FP&A & People Ops to:
    • Validate reqs with the master hiring plan and continually confirm that all documentation is up to date
    • Assist in the pre-hire on-boarding process
    • Create better reporting functionality and user experience
  • You’ll create and lead the charge to develop enablement programs for the Talent Team and various stakeholders to be the best in class Talent Ambassadors. With a strong program management acumen to identify success, gaps, and iterate through define expectations and accountability.

In your first 6 Months

  • You will support & manage the design and delivery of talent operations projects and programs
  • You will develop and deliver training initiatives to enable our recruiters, hiring managers and interviewers to roll out new processes & workflows.
  • You will lead regular process design reviews to identify areas for operational efficiency and effectiveness, proposing, and ultimately implementing, targeted solutions

In your first year:

  • You’ll manage and assess our vendor relationships and help research, identify and evaluate new talent systems and/or vendors
  • You’ll continue making tailored process and organization improvements to our talent systems and workflow documentation
  • You’ll provide ongoing training support to internal stakeholders
  • You’ll flexibly help solve process and systems problems that were unexpected.
  • You’ll be a key member to the overall productivity and health of the Talent function at Dialpad.

Who you are:

You are a strong Talent professional with experience in both full life cycle recruiting and Recruiting/Talent Acquisition Operations who thrives in a fast-paced environment . As a cornerstone to the Talent Team, you bring deep experience in enhancing and scaling a variety of talent systems to drive a robust talent engine. Your work ethic, eye for detail, and proven application of analytical skills and critical thinking positions you to effectively plan and lead projects to completion. You embed the value of diversity into your work processes and relationships. With your proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets, you are able to develop and iteratively update dashboards utilizing sophisticated formulas, pivot tables, and etc. You’ve demonstrated excellent business acumen to come up with business solutions through strong communication skills (oral & written). You get energized by finding ways to streamline and improve systems and processes , thus elevating and enabling the talent function.
