The Job The
AVOD Operations Specialist will be responsible for supporting and executing cross-functional processes to enable the successful operation and growth of HBO Max with Ads. This role will also be responsible for monitoring available data points for HBO Max with Ads performance and distributing relevant data points to key stakeholders to drive insights and analysis. The ideal candidate has experience executing cross-functional processes to optimize, automate, and scale, is comfortable working with a variety of platforms/systems in a high-volume operational environment, and can dynamically learn new business and technological constructs as needed. In this highly cross-functional role, you will manage activities amongst stakeholders within Ad Ops, Ad Sales, Ad Tech, Content Ops, Content Strategy, Digital Ops, Editorial, Finance, Marketing, Product Experience, and various Direct-To-Consumer teams throughout WarnerMedia.
The Daily - Support and execute cross-functional processes to enable continuous delivery of innovative ad formats, including partnership with the HBO Max Editorial team to enable sponsorship of content throughout the browse and view experience
- Collaborate with Product and other stakeholders to execute strategic recommendations to improve customer experience and efficiently monetize engagement
- Maintain a current, detailed understanding of KPIs and underlying data points that are critical to the success of HBO Max with Ads business
- Track and deliver weekly and monthly HBO Max with Ads metrics to serve various use cases and for distribution to internal and external stakeholders
- Provide ongoing support to maintain and evolve the Drupal-based HBO Max Advertising site’s CMS and coordinate larger site enhancements with in-house web development and design teams
- Provide ongoing support to deliver internal promos and any other non-monetized shoulder content within HBO Max with Ads
- Provide ongoing support to enable quality assurance and quality control processes for HBO Max with Ads content, advertisements, and product experience in partnership with the Product Performance team
The Essentials - Bachelor’s degree and/or relevant experience required
- Media operations, advertising operations, and content management experience preferred
- Prior experience with digital technology ecosystems required
- Experience in operationalization of complex workflows, systems and processes
- Hands-on experience developing and executing business-critical process improvement initiatives
- Comfortable collaborating with business and technology stakeholders to develop new processes, enhance legacy tools, and support innovation
- Self-starter who can simultaneously balance cross-functional teams’ needs while reacting quickly, dynamically, and intelligently to shifting priorities
- Ability to effectively influence stakeholders and communicate cross-functionally across all levels
- Genuine interest in streaming video, digital operations, and innovation within the industry
- Big4, consulting and/or professional services experience preferred
