The Center of Expertise Finance organization at Medtronic Netherlands is divided in various departments consisting of a fast-growing number of specialists. They offer support in all financial key process such as Financial Planning & Control, Order to Deliver, Order to Invoice, Sales and Expense Management and System Solutions. These departments offer their service to more than 20 countries in Europe, Middle East and Africa. The teams drive operations, solve problems, improve processes and ensure compliance.

A Day in the Life
Within the Order to Invoice team we are coordinating and managing all financial aspects of the sales cycle in our region, including rebates, revenue recognition, new sales models, sales & product structures, sales reporting and sales incentives calculations & accruals.
In this role, you will be part of the team responsible for sales incentives.
You will participate in simplifying and optimizing all processes around sales incentives for the EMEA region.

Main duties and responsibilities are:

• Alternate product & entity hierarchies;
• Partner with the business to understand their go to market strategies and translate this into sales incentive plan design;
• Sales incentive plan assignment;
• Sales target setting;
• Administration and validation of performance data, including manual adjustment and manual metric governance;
• Sales incentive forecasting, accruals, reconciliation and expense reporting;
• Provide analytics on SIP design effectiveness;
• System improvements / building new capabilities;
• Expansion opportunities (new regions/businesses, different employee types).
• You will closely liaise with other value streams, including region/business finance, commercial excellence, business intelligence and HR.

Must Haves

• Relevant Bachelor or Master Degree in Finance;
• 4-8 years relevant working experience in sales operations;
• Perfect command of English, written and spoken;
• Experience with an ERP system (preferably SAP);
• Advanced user MS Office (Excel, Access).

You are strong in mastering and visualizing complex end to end processes and understand the connects between data elements. You are flexible and supportive to change. You have a strong affinity with systems.
