ABOUT THE TEAM The Insurance business unit at Revolut has been launched to help our customers (individuals and businesses) with achieving financial security through a range of insurance products across Pension, Health, SME, Income, Property/Liability, Motor and more. ABOUT THE ROLE This is an exciting opportunity to join us at Revolut as we begin to build our Insurance operation. The Business Analyst role will be a core part of our Operations Team. We are looking for smart and ambitious people who would help us understand our data better. This is a unique opportunity to learn about many aspects of our business and be involved in the early stages of an innovative new product. Your main weapons will be SQL, dashboards, and a thorough understanding of our business operations. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING • Producing business solution design components for insurance change delivery • Leading design mapping of the Policy and Claims Management Systems • Liaising extensively with internal and external stakeholders, capturing requirements across all key functions • Working closely with Product teams to ensure technical solutions and operational processes work together as a coherent, customer focused journey • Maintaining to-be and as-is process flows and business capability mapping • Completing detailed data/operational analysis to identify areas of opportunities • Identifying opportunities for, and delivering on, process automation and continuous optimisation to increase business efficiencies • Supporting the Policy Services leadership team with the design and delivery of Target Operating Models WHAT YOU'LL NEED • Experience in a similar position gained within a fast-paced environment • Graduated with at least a 2:1 in a STEM/Economics/Finance or equivalent degree • Solid track record of achievement e.g. you have worked in a top Tech/Insurance/Financial Services company or startup, and have quickly assumed responsibilities • Passionate about using data driven decisions to improve the business, using tools such as SQL, Python or R • Evidence of delivering automation to customer journeys and business processes, including robust documentation of business requirements • Ability to break complex problems into smaller ones, driven to continuously learn and improve • You are curious by nature and interested in making an impact, demonstrated through various projects you have been involved in • You are a team player - willing to step in to help across the wider team for the benefit of the customer and/or business A little about us...
