As a Programs Specialist, you will enthusiastically represent the Google brand and build our talent pipeline. Whether it’s making our staffing systems more efficient, planning for our growth, building relationships on college campuses or cultivating the next generation of computer scientists, you will have an eye on the staffing needs of Google and the broader hiring landscape. You'll be focused on cultivating outstanding candidates for Google's long-term hiring needs, and you are the glue that ties together a cross-functional and international group of staffing teams.

We advance talent, generate key insights and deliver the hiring need to craft Google's future. The Decline & Xoogler team engages with 'Xooglers' and previous 'Decline' talent in order to gain a better understanding of their experience, their motivation to leave or decline a role in Google and inform what it would take to re(hire) them.
The team are a critical node for the long term engagement of candidates. An essential source of insights for EMEA Recruiting and are key partners within the recruiting ecosystem to find a home, advise on rehire eligibility, rehire processes and provide excellent candidate and partner experience.

Responsibilities

• Leverage subject matter expertise on both Decline and Xoogler processes to ensure we can effectively advance and advocate for candidates in the most effective way.
• Perform thorough analysis of our talent pools to establish hiring projections. Using data to increase team efficiency and to create insights to inform regional level hiring strategies.
• Influence stakeholders through effective delivery and insights to improve the program’s hiring outcomes at a regional level.
• Educate partners on the value and utility of the Decline & Xoogler program, the quality of the talent pool and the compliance requirements in our processes. Effectively manage and advise clients, candidates, colleagues on best practices.
• Ensure that our program insights are connected to the right leaders to inform effective decisions to improve business outcomes and growth.
