As a Sourcer, you will support our small and creative Global Recruiting team. You will have the opportunity to work cross functionally with Alation team members from Sales Development Representative while coordinating research on understanding new markets, generating company leads utilizing online resources and effectively screen inbound/outbound leads. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to develop their recruiting skills in the Salt Lake City area by supporting our team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment while ensuring a stellar Alation candidate experience. Job Scope: This is a 6-12 month contract role, where you will help lead and design the talent pipeline by using various channels to look for potential candidates, contacting passive candidates and building top talent pipelines for future hiring needs. If you have solid networking skills, know how to source on social media and enjoy learning about different roles, we’d like to meet you.

What you'll do:

    • Find, engage and activate passive candidates through the use of Boolean search, LinkedIn and alternative search techniques.
    • Collaborate with In-house recruiters and source for all levels of positions across the company
    • Interact with potential candidates on social media and professional networks (e.g. LinkedIn, Indeed, Monster, etc)
    • Utilize multiple sourcing tools and advanced sourcing techniques to identify talent for open requisitions, such as online social networking, cold-calling and referrals
    • Craft and send unique recruiting emailsIdentify qualified candidates using various sourcing & recruiting methods, traditional and creative
    • Conduct initial screening calls with candidates to introduce them to Alation and qualify them for current and future opportunities
    • Develop pipelines for future hiring needs
    • Maintain candidate databases (e.g. via Excel and/or our Applicant Tracking System – Lever experience is a plus!)
    • Conduct targeted searches to increase the diversity of our candidate pipelineRevise job description to create job postings for marketing purposes and brand building

Who you are:

    • A minimum of 2 years direct talent sourcing experience in a high volume, fast paced work environment
    • Having experience with supporting recruiting activities for hi-growth, technical organizations is preferred
    • Solid technical and industry knowledge with the ability to understand relevant technical skills, target companies, conferences, open source communities
    • Demonstrated success in developing and executing sourcing strategies
    • Demonstrated proficiency with web-based applicant tracking systems, internet search engines, and Microsoft Office programs particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
    • Solution-oriented with a passion to get things done on the fly
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to establish relationships externally and internally with individuals across all functions of our organization
    • Should be a self starter and possess a “hunter” mindset
    • This is a 6-12 months contract role with possible extension
