Healthcare is changing in big ways, and CoverMyMeds is in the middle of it all! As a UX Researcher at CoverMyMeds, you will utilize mixed methods research to advocate for human-centered product decisions to help patients receive the medications they need to live healthy lives.

What You'll Do:

As a member of the AMP team (Access for More Patients), you will be tasked with understanding user behavior and interaction with current and potential solutions to generate new insights to help evolve our product offerings. You will join a small team doing big things in healthcare, with endless opportunities to continue learning and mentoring others. Like most growing companies, the job content of all positions varies daily as everyone pitches in to get the job done, but your primary responsibilities will include...

• Partner with Design, Product, Engineering, Analytics, and Customer Success to identify knowledge gaps in our understanding of the AMP experience
• Guide discovery efforts using generative research methods to explore and identify potential product opportunities
• Lead evaluative research initiatives using a diverse set of approaches including contextual inquiry, remote and in-person moderated interviews, unmoderated testing, A/B testing, card sorting, and surveys
• Collaborate with other teams on the creation and maintenance of data-driven personas
• Facilitate ideation workshops with key stakeholders to identify innovation opportunities
• Collect and synthesize qualitative and quantitative research to inform product strategy and design decision-making
• Present key findings and actionable insights to align a wide variety of stakeholders, and build empathy with our users
• Serve as a thought leader within the company; champion and enable research within a growing organization
• *Travel (up to 15%) may be required for this role (outside of the COVID Pandemic)

About You:

• You are curious about human behavior and strive to understand why people behave the way they do
• 5+ years of experience in UX research, focused on digital products
• You are passionate about shaping the future of healthcare knowing we face nebulous and undefined problems today
• You are committed to empowering cross-functional teams to understand and utilize research best practices
• Comfortable selecting the best research methods and techniques to uncover unique insights in a fast-paced environment
• Thorough understanding of generative and evaluative research methods and when to use each
• Comfortable with and enjoy leading both formal and fast paced, “guerrilla” research
• Demonstrated experience conducting research in a business environment, including working with cross-functional teams to understand their research needs
• You have excellent written and verbal communication skills and use them to effectively execute research activities and bring stakeholders into the process
• You have a balanced understanding of strategy, research, interaction and visual design
• You are comfortable with adapting and improving as AMP matures
