About the role

We are hiring for a Privacy Program Manager on our Privacy team. As our Privacy Program Manager you will help design and manage our privacy program, operationalizing the program with a focus on implementing tools, policies, and training to govern the handling and processing of Chime members’ personal and sensitive data.

This job cannot be performed in the state of Colorado.

In this role, you can expect to

• Develop and manage the implementation of privacy policies and procedures as well as the delivery of privacy training
• Help put in place measures to ensure compliance with privacy laws and regulations, including mapping policies and controls to laws and regulations
• Work with product and engineering teams to design and manage a privacy impact analysis program
• Team with Security, IT, and Engineering to ensure privacy is embedded into all of Chime’s data processing procedures

To thrive in this role, you have

• 5+ years of privacy program management experience
• Experience operationalizing privacy regulations and ability to understand contractual and regulatory requirements
• General understanding of, and interest in, IT, information security, and privacy engineering
• Ability to scale processes and procedures and partner with teams across an enterprise
• CIPP, CIPM, or other privacy or security certification strongly preferred
