Associate Product Manager

As an Associate Product Manager at CoverMyMeds, you’ll assist in solving tough problems in the healthcare industry to help patients receive the medications they need to live healthy lives. You’ll support Product Managers on maximizing the efficiency, utilization, performance and value of our existing products. You’ll partner closely with people across CoverMyMeds and in our industry to help manage and grow products. You’ll participate in continuously elevating the product practice at CoverMyMeds and have endless opportunities to take on responsibility, continue learning and mentor others.

What You’ll Do

• Build, enhance and maintain products with a delivery team
  • Assist with managing a prioritized product backlog, balancing market, technical and client needs
  • Collaborate regularly with our analytics teams to assist in monitoring key metrics on product health and performance and utilize data to influence product decisions
  • Collaborate regularly with our engineering team to assist with breaking down work into sprint-level cards, identifying dependencies, technical discovery efforts and defining requirement acceptance criteria
  • Collaborate regularly with our patient services teams to assist with user feedback and understanding of operational aspects of the product.
  • Coordinate meetings, resources and communication about product backlog items
  • Launch new experiments, validating successes and iterating quickly
  • Strive to strike the right balance between innovation and maintenance when determining priorities.
  • Triage functional product issues
• Champion successful product management practices across CoverMyMeds
  • Build relationships with product managers across CoverMyMeds to understand business needs driving product changes

About You

• Able to share examples of when you’ve identified and prioritized the most important things among a myriad of important things
• Able to share examples of when you’ve proactively pursued solutions and were resourceful to get results
• Able to share techniques for how you’ve effectively overseen and communicated detail-oriented working plans
• Familiar with agile software development
• A natural collaborator who seeks out new perspectives and builds trusting relationships with stakeholders
• Comfortable making decisions in times of ambiguity, complexity and imperfect information
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong problem solver who can handle interrelated projects
