ROLE SUMMARY

The Manager, U.S. Presidential Associate Program will oversee all aspects of the Presidential Associate program experience. This role reports to the Executive Director, CEO Global Presidential Program.

The Presidential Associate Program is an 18-month rotational program specially designed for undergraduates. This program integrates customized professional rotations, continuous leadership development, coaching, mentoring, and hands-on practical experience. Our goal is to attract, retain, and develop the best future leaders of the organization through our high-touch, bespoke, strengths-based approach.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Coaching:

  • Act as primary program point of contact for 20+ Presidential Associates (PAs)
  • Conduct one-on-one touchbases with PAs and rotational managers
  • Partner with ED, CEO Global Presidential Program to escalate issues and manage performance as needed
  • Recommend rotations for PAs in collaboration with entire program management team
  • Vet and onboard new rotational managers
  • Coordinate post-program placement for PAs in partnership with hiring managers, HRBPs, and ED, CEO Global Presidential Program
  • Communicate with rotational managers on: PDP, manager expectations, individual PA nuances and goals, project lists, etc

Recruitment

  • Support creation and execution of PA Recruitment Strategy on a fiscal year basis, in partnership with Senior Manager, PMA & SrPA Programs and ED, CEO Global Presidential Program
  • Recruit annual full-time & intern classes of the CEO Global Presidential Program undergraduate students for the New York City Presidential Program
  • Act as primary point of contact for all undergraduate on-campus recruiting and events
  • Represent the CEO Global Presidential Program at key recruitment events and career fairs
  • Conduct interviews as needed
  • Relationship management with core partner schools and career offices.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Global Talent partners.
  • Program design and management for the CEO Global Presidential Summer Internship Program, in close partnership and collaboration with the Global Talent Lauder Corporate Internship Management Team.
  • Tracking and High-Touch recruitment of executive referrals to the CEO Global Presidential Program, in tandem with High-Touch referral management.
  • Measuring and reporting YOY metrics of recruitment efforts, particularly around IDE recruitment.
  • Handle all candidate decision communications Professional Development:
  • Partner with Professional Development lead to identify learning needs for the Presidential Associates
  • Design and implement curriculum using a blended learning approach—virtual and in-person instructor-led, virtual self-led, etc.
  • Facilitate sessions as needed
  • Cultivate strong cross-functional partnerships with other Talent-related functions to integrate into enterprise-wide learning opportunities and curricula Additional responsibilities:
  • Partner with Data & Analytics lead to support all program metrics and reporting
  • Partner with Alumni Engagement lead to operationalize and implement strategy to engage and retain program alumni
  • Support other team projects and initiatives as needed (e.g., strategy, budget updates, etc.)
  • Develop deeper understanding of the Brands/Regions/Function and strategic impact to the organization
  • Support alignment of all initiatives with ELC strategy

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Position requires minimum of 5+ years of business experience
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate cross-functionally with rotational managers, HRBPs, Global Talent partners, and other internal stakeholders
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where flexibility is a key component
  • Creative problem-solving
  • Strong attention to detail while simultaneously capable of seeing the whole picture
  • Strong leadership and project management skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently
  • Excellent written & verbal communication, comfortable presenting to all levels of management and working within a matrix organization
  • Must possess strong technical skills
  • Ability to embrace change and be adaptable
  • Must have a natural curiosity, be a continuous learner and problem-solver
  • Ability to manage and execute multiple projects simultaneously, including setting goals, developing timelines, and managing task completion
