Job Description

• End-to-end responsibility for conception, planning and development of an innovative IoT product over entire development cycle from SOD to SOP
• Specification of system level requirements together with respective topic experts for the end-to-end connectivity of an IoT product from HW, electronics, embedded SW, data-interfaces, WLAN connectivity module, gateway, cyber security, front-end and backend infrastructure
• Derivation of work-packages from system level requirements and proactive steering of all development work-streams with internal/external partners in order to achieve project milestones, quality gates and target SOP
• Definition and translation of use-cases into user-stories, epics and implementation in sprint plans with internal and external development partners
• Lead the sourcing, onboarding and steering of external engineering service providers for development of connectivity modules (WLAN), frontend and backend applications
• Lead the analysis, pre-selection and sourcing process of key components like WLAN chipsets
• Coordinate the testing/validation, certification and product release process
• Plan and steer project budget and resources over the entire development cycle with the objective to achieve project targets (on time, on specification, on Budget)
• Regularly review and align project KPIs with key Stakeholders

Qualifications

• University degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
• More than 5 years of project lead experience for an IoT product/solution, ideally within the full scope of end-to-end connectivity from HW & Electronics to Cloud/Backend and Frontend App
• Proven track record of having developed and successfully launched IoT products/services in the market, ideally in consumer goods sector
• Several years of experience and knowhow in the conception and development of embedded IoT applications
• Knowledge of WLAN gateways, FOTA, frontend/backend architecture & development will be highly beneficial
• Hands-on mentality with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Affinity and experience in working with agile methods and Tools
• Team-player with a passion for IoT
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Fluent German and English (written/verbal)
