  • Taking your place as a core member of an Agile team driving the latest development practices.
  • Writing code and unit tests, working with API specs and automation.
  • Identifying opportunities for adopting new technologies.
  • Be a part of highly talented, transformational, and dynamic engineering team working on architecture, design, engineering, and implementation of digital customer contact solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Build applications to solve & support critical, complex capabilities across platforms for advanced contact center technologies.
  • Drive the solution delivery lifecycle for digital capabilities in contact center (Genesys preferred).
  • Genesys e-services configuration (Nice to have).
  • Research and analysis across complex delivery requirements; build working prototypes to validate proposed solutions and minimize risk associated with delivery efforts.
  • Partner with other senior level engineers, architects and platform owner to help set technical direction and strategic objectives.
  • Be a technology evangelist and innovator introducing new tools and technologies to American Express.
  • Identify new use cases and opportunities to embrace emerging & innovative technologies and be a functional liaison to our business partners
Minimum Qualifications

Are you up for the challenge?

Qualifications:

  • Experience in Software Development in a professional environment and/or comparable experience
  • Proven experience in contact center technologies (Genesys preferred), working both at an Enterprise and Domain levels, including major transformation programs
  • Hands on experience in Java, Javascript and ECMA script is a must
  • Thorough understanding Web Service technologies, data structure fundamentals and experience in building API's
  • Experience in working with highly productive cross functional teams using Agile/Scrum/Kanban project methodologies
  • Experience with large scale systems and resource management
  • Ability to work in cross functional teams.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Science Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong inter-personal, organization and prioritization skills
