Key responsibilities but are not limited to:

POSITION SUMMARY

  • Responsible for all elements of a branded P&L, supporting the, Brand Managers, Senior Business Manager and Finance Director
  • Prepare brand financial and accounting records, reports and other information allowing senior management to make informed business decisions and thereby improve the affiliate’s profitability.
  • Work closely with the brand teams and fulfil a business partnering role with the aim of creating and adding value, ensuring financial viability and ROI of initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance of all financial processes and policies

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategy Planning and Estimate Process

  • Contribute to elements of the strategic direction of the brand(s): evaluate financial impact of strategic choices and suggests alternatives
  • Own the planning and estimate process; work with the brand(s), to accurately estimate monthly submissions
  • Consolidate business(s) P&L to ensure targets are being met and re-forecast as appropriate
  • Responsible for preparation of monthly estimate and annual budget reporting
  • Input budgets and estimates into the relevant models
  • Assist in the production and management of CAPEX plan/estimate/actuals
  • Partner with key stakeholders in the business to ensure an accurate quarterly estimate and adherence to capital plans
  • Manage the capital authorization process

Business Partnering

  • Responsible for providing commercial support to brand and sales management team (s)
  • Key contract for analytical requests from the business
  • Ability to problem-solve and find solutions
  • Ability to stand firm in financial advice and policies
  • Ability to identify critical concerns and prioritize,
  • Communicate with Regional FP&A team to guarantee common understanding and requirements

Finance & Accounting

  • Strong understanding of accounting processes and principles
  • Responsible for upholding accounting principles, ensuring proper processes are adhered to within the brand teams and educating non-finance personnel on financial processes and policies
  • Involvement in finance and business operations project workstreams, as required
  • Manage systems controls over sales and expenses in conjunction with the Senior Business Manager and the Finance Director
  • Prepare monthly brand (s) financial entries
  • Engage with outsource partner (Genpact) on any transactional posting requirements

Commercial & Financial Reporting

  • Responsible for development and delivery of financial and commercial reporting to brand(s) and senior management
  • Proactively challenge status quo, and use commercial analysis to drive business change
  • Leverage company financial system to facilitate insightful and efficient reporting (Including but not limited to: SAP, CPM, BI, Door P&L, Smartview)
  • Provide monthly commentary on the brand(s) business results and the financial estimate
  • Analytical Excellence: Development and production of structured and ad hoc analysis with a focus on creating value in the business
  • Provide key commercial insight, and support the business division to achieve its goals
  • Prepare and issue monthly reporting commentary, actual results and various other reports, reflecting monthly results
  • Monthly financial analysis: Review and interpret monthly financial information
  • Add value in analysis, and conduct any specific financial analysis upon request, or when self-identified
  • Monitor financial performance, and prepares analysis of trends and financial consequences
  • Prepare monthly management reporting, including SIOP, relevant KPI’s and insights on performance drivers
  • Track financial impact of any major brand(s) project

Qualifications

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance (CIMA a plus)
  • Finance and Business Partnering experience (3-5 years)
  • Good knowledge of MS Office Applications, SAP, BI, BPC, SmartView
  • Analysis and interpretation of financial data
