Job Description

The primary role of this consulting assignment is for the Gogo Business Aviation C ONTRACT Sr. RF/RAN Engineer Cto render such services as Gogo may from time to time request in writing in connection with following project description

hereby called. Specific tasks will be defined as the work progresses, with schedule details and deliverables to be established by mutual agreement between the contractor and Gogo.

At a top level, some of the tasks may be as follows:

Assess anticipated NGSO operations in CONUS

  • This task group will incorporate efforts to assess the anticipated

operational performance of a number of Non-Geo Synchronous

orbits (NGSO) satcom networks.

  • Tasks to include but may not be limited to coverage discussions,

throughput and latencies for selected networks. May also include

some projections for what the network configurations may look

(block diagrams, network configurations, ground station/teleports,

interconnection back to internet backbone, etc).

Operational Testing

  • Tasks may include various efforts to explore new concepts, define

experiments, procure equipment, procure services, and execute

tests for concepts that might be applicable to evolution of Gogo

communications services and products.

This is a 6 months contract to start.

Pay Rate: $49/hr-$61/hr
