Who You'll Work With

You will be based in our Atlanta office as part of McKinsey's Technology & Digital (T&D) organization. You will be a core member of the product management function and will work with teams in technology hubs (New York, Waltham, Gurgaon and Prague) as well as colleagues in other locations. You will work closely in squads alongside experts in various disciplines - designers, engineers and more - and together the squad will relentlessly strive to deliver outcomes that matter. You and your squad will work together to discover opportunities, experiment, innovate and deliver solutions using a mix of methodologies including design thinking, lean and agile.

What You'll Do

You will play a lead role on the squad in setting a shared vision, understanding value and prioritizing work to build our cloud platforms and accelerate McKinsey's Cloud-first transformation.You and your team will design and implement multi-cloud platform engineering frameworks and accelerators, automated capabilities and reusable assets that enable fast and frictionless migration to the Cloud. You will also partner with the firm’s information security to establish a secure-by-design cloud ecosystem, ensuring compliance with privacy, regulatory and data residency requirements.In partnership with key stakeholders and your squad, you will take the lead on setting an inspiring product vision and outcome metrics, define your customers and work with design colleagues to run the customer research. #LI-DNI

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science, engineering or related discipline; industry recognized cloud certification is a plus
• 5+ years of experience in building and shipping technical, non consumer-facing products; experience delivering large scale Cloud products is a plus
• Experience with public cloud products, hybrid and cloud-native architectures, serverless frameworks, Docker/Kubernetes, data security and integration services is a plus
• Expert at leading delivery with high-performing, cross-functional, agile engineering teams
• Entrepreneurial mindset with an ability to navigate ambiguity while keeping a focus on strategic outcomes; ability to ‘put things into perspective’ for team and stakeholders
• Ability to establish trust-based relationships with senior McKinsey leaders and thought partner with business teams
• Knowledge of McKinsey client service and consulting toolkit is a plus
• Influencing skills that drive alignment with a breadth of stakeholders in a non-hierarchical environment
• Skilled at leading divergent problem-solving sessions enabling healthy debate between diverse views but then bringing the thinking together on priorities and path forward
• Mastery of a wide range of product management, design thinking techniques and tools such as customer journey maps, service blueprints, vision workshops, roadmaps, storymaps
• Keen sense of empathy with the user and champion of user-centric design
• Growth mindset and always looking to improve self, work of the squad and adapt to the culture of the organization
• Ability to translate between technical and non-technical audiences to enable business outcomes through technology
• Communication skills (written and verbal) that reflect structured, clear, and objective thinking
