Thomson Reuters is currently seeking a sales leader to join their Corporate Tax leadership team selling to companies with 500 million in revenue to F500 market. The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) position offers the perfect balance of running a sales force and managing channel partners. Using a team approach, the RSM will be responsible for all sales activity for the ONESOURCE software solutions within a given region. The RSM will cover U.S. sales activities occasionally interacting with other sales managers around the world on global deals. The RSM works collaboratively with the Sales Executive, Sales Support, Solution Consultant and Sales Leadership teams worldwide to develop the sales strategy for maximizing sales across the customer base. This role will play an active role in creating the structure to support proposal development, contract negotiation, and closing the deal. Compensation includes base salary with commissions based on individual and team performance.
Successful ASMs are goal-oriented and self-motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team. They are persuasive, empathetic and able to generate enthusiasm with clients and their sales team. They need excellent business acumen to accurately assess clients' issues and develop "outside the box" solutions. The job requires the ability to work with a sense of urgency while juggling multiple opportunities.
