Product Manager

Job Description

As a Product Manager in our Product Organization, you will work with cross-functional teams to drive prioritization and delivery of partner integrations into our product, as well as to identify and execute on the most important areas for product investment based on market feedback and product vision.

You will manage technology-driven prior authorization solutions that support pharmaceutical manufacturers and the patient care team – driving utilization by CoverMyMeds’ network of health care providers and delivering value to customers, while helping people get the medicine they need to live healthy lives.

You will have the opportunity to take on big problems and to lead through influence to discover viable solutions.

This role will work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to prioritize software development work that generates maximum value for our network and customers. You will collaborate closely with software developers, data analysts, UX designers, customers, other product managers, account managers, sales staff and our customer support team, with numerous opportunities to take on responsibility and continue learning.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead cross-functional teams through influence to discover and deliver solutions that drive key outcomes for the organization
• Partner with engineering to routinely break down ideas into slices of valuable and deliverable work
• Actively monitor and improve key metrics on product performance and health
• Build trusting relationships with stakeholders through collaboration, communication, and expectation-management
• Prioritize product delivery work to maximize value to the organization and achieve product team key results
• Collaborate closely with product, business development, sales and account teams to understand the business needs driving changes to product functionality
• Maintain a product roadmap, laying out product priorities and milestones to enable realistic forecasting, communication and expectation-management
• Balance user and customer needs, technical considerations, and business viability in order to develop successful products
• Leverage prototyping and experimentation to rapidly learn and inform product investment decisions

About You:

• Previous product management experience in agile software development organizations required
• Strong ability to create alignment and understanding, help translate between technology, UX, and business oriented perspectives
• Outcome oriented with experience de-risking major product efforts
• Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-changing environment – able to identify what’s important and to act decisively in times of uncertainty
• You routinely use creativity to get around obstacles and leverage deep knowledge to identify which obstacles are not blockers for execution
• Motivated by solving interesting problems, learning new things, and working with smart people
• Proven experience utilizing qualitative and quantitative data to recommend modifications to a product
• A natural collaborator and excellent communicator who seeks out new perspectives and builds trusting relationships with stakeholders
• Proven experience identifying and prioritizing the most important things amongst a myriad of important things
• Proven experience working with development teams to navigate ideation through execution in order to deliver valuable solutions
• Curious and inquisitive, actively works to remove implicit bias
• Comfortable with being handed a problem to solve and leading a team to discover and deliver viable solutions
