We are seeking a Localization Project Manager to work on the Marketing Team. This individual will be responsible for all elements of the localization workflow from request creation to job completion. The candidate must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and successfully collaborate with teams on Marketing and CX orgs. This position reports to the head of Localization.
Day In The Life
- Engage and build relationships with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, and CX) to evangelize localization best practices and launch high-quality localized content
- Contribute to developing scalable localization workflows, including building infrastructural programs ensuring proper content adaptation and high translation quality while reducing turnaround times
- Focal point throughout Degreed for all content localization requests
- Coordinate the ongoing translation projects for Marketing and CX content, prepare and QA files for delivery to translation vendors, distribute and QA localized content, maintain content libraries and identify improvement opportunities
- Conduct regular content planning meetings with stakeholders Manage versioning of all translated content
- Maintain clear policy documentation and process guides
- Maintain linguistic resources: translation memories, term databases, and style guides
- Be a champion for translation and localization best practices throughout the organization
Who You Are
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication (English full fluency and fluency in at least 1 additional language: Spanish, Portuguese, German, or French)
- Working knowledge of industry standard localization tools (XTM is a must)
- Experience with translation queue management and roadmapping
- Experience prioritizing and managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines under pressure
- Strong operational, project management, and documentation skillsKeen eye for quality and details
- Solid understanding of data manipulation JIRA, Asana, Contentful, Wordpress, Hubspot experience is an asset
