Job Description:

It's an exciting time to join our growing Accounting team with ample development opportunities. We're looking for a Manager of Financial Reporting to strengthen reporting on our general ledger and accounting operations while keeping pace within one of the fastest growing meal-kit companies.

The Manager of Reporting is a member of the Finance team and manages the Financial Reporting of all of HelloFresh's Vertical brands. You will report to the Director of Accounting and work with our FP&A, Data, Financial Operations, Treasury and Tax teams. You have the reporting and technical background to support our continued growth and collaborate with other departments to improve reporting.

This is a newly created position as a result of company growth that will: (i) better allocate responsibilities and work demands among the accounting function (ii) provide a single contact for the consolidation and financial reporting functions for HelloFresh US; (iii) create succession planning for the Controller and the FP&A team.

You Will...

• Participate in close related activities to ensure complete and accurate financials following IFRS, including managing/reviewing close activities such as journal entries and account reconciliations within the established close timeline
• Ensure compliance with procedures, and identify opportunities to enhance existing procedures to improve control, measurement, and productivity
• Assist the Controller and the Director in managing the preparation of monthly financial reporting for management, including tie-outs to underlying detail
• Be a main contributor to PBCs requested by auditors, and review of PBC items to ensure consistency with financial records
• Partner with FP&A and Accounting teams around monthly variance management reporting
• Support technical assessment of unusual / new transactions to ensure compliance with IFRS, internal policies, and external audits

At a minimum, you have...

• 6+ years of accounting experience, with experience in relevant industry public company preferred or mid- to large-size company (> $500 million revenue)
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CPA
• Experience with accounting and month end closing processes; IFRS knowledge
• Experience with ERP and financial reporting tools; Oracle Cloud Financials knowledge
• Experience with food/manufacturing/ ecommerce industries
• Advanced Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets) and data manipulation skills
