We are looking for a talented International Accountant to join our Finance & Accounting team in Cairo, Egypt. Our ideal candidate is a resourceful problem solver who will take ownership of critical accounting tasks as well as offering administrative assistance. • Be a key player in ensuring the accounting and reporting function will scale and support the company’s rapid growth.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Analyze expenses and record month-end accruals and other journal entries for Egypt, Dubai, and India.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations.
• Review GL activity and ensure proper documentation attached.
• Manage vendor relations and ensure the contract approval process is followed.
• Liaise with HR to assist with employee onboarding and offboarding.
• Assist with accounts payable and expense reports using the paperless system with proper approvals. Process wire transfers, coordinate ACH payments, and other banking support.
• Research unresolved issues with customers and vendors, propose solutions.
• Assist use tax, GAFI filings, and audit reporting.
• Assist in global process improvements and eventually manage the India and UAE accounting operations.
• Manage office access, maintain office documentation such as employee onboarding and social insurance.
• Additional projects as needed

What We Value:

• Fluent English
• 3-5 yrs prior experience with accounts payable and general accounting
• Knowledge of Excel
• Ability to work independently, follow guidelines, attention to detail, willingness to be proactive about problems, and a strong customer service attitude
• Experience with NetSuite & Concur is a plus
