Reporting Line: Senior Director Product Marketing EMEA

Start Date: ASAP

Positioning:
Responsible for defining a product's content messaging development, also referred to as product positioning. Product positioning includes the development of the product story (pain, needs, desire, etc.,) competitive product differentiation, unique selling propositions (USP,) and key features and benefits. Product positioning is specified in a Positioning Value Documents (PVDs.)

Asset Development. The product marketing manager creates the New Product Introduction (NPI) plan for their Products, and works with the company's marketing communication team's creation and production of deliverables, in the following categories:

Collateral & sales tools development: Planning and content development of all product collateral and sales tools to all groups that needs such tools.

Digital development: Deliver sales information and tools via internal website for sales staff, and other product support staff. The product marketing manager is responsible to oversee the development and management of the product sections of these websites.

Product Evaluations: Provide for and manage evaluation and competitive analysis for internal and external use for sales support.

Other Communications: Regularly support the direct and indirect sales teams with product information and sales tools deliverables to better enable sales to perform

Asset Activation: Responsible for internal product promotion, including sales training, using the created assets. Activation means that one is the "expert" on the product and is responsible for communicating "expertise" on the product's positioning, benefits, and features to influencers inside and outside of the company in a sales context. Activation includes:

Internal Communications. To inform and regularly update all internal stakeholders of product marketing activities and asset.

Commercialization. To provide content and activities to ensure the product is fully commercialized with the correct brand, name, descriptions, and other product communication attributes.

Client Communications. To work with our client relationship management teams to ensure new product asset support is available, and to support campaigns for new product upsells.

Marketing Communications. To work with our corporate brand and marketing teams in coordination.

PR/AR. To assist with public relations and analyst relations deliverables related to product responsibilities.

Inbound Marketing. To create awareness of content for digital inbound lead generation programs, including website, email, and syndication campaigns.

Outbound Marketing. To create awareness of content for outbound programs, including events, email and mail campaigns.

Product Launches: The Product Marketing Manager may from time to time be responsible to launch new products. This results in a contribution of product knowledge and content for marketing deliverables and promotions and executed by marketing service
