The Challenge:

Are you looking for an opportunity to develop a platform that will have an impact on national security? Solid platform development is a critical part of any program’s success and you know how to do it right – scalable design with baked in security. That’s why we need you, a developer with the skills to build a platform that will be part of transforming an intelligence coalition inside of the DoD.

As a platform developer on our team, you’ll design and develop the core ServiceNow platform for our project from end to end. You’ll work with customers and end-users to understand their mission, current architecture, and security requirements. With a focus on the customer’s goals, you’ll work with the team to build a design that will scale to meet their evolving needs. You’ll provide tool and capability recommendations based on your research of the current environment and new technology. Your design will set the standard for future development, so you’ll craft an architecture that smoothly works with existing infrastructure without compromising security. We focus on growing as a team to deliver the best support to our customers, so you’ll have resources for mentoring and learning new skills and tools. This is a chance to use your OS knowledge while developing expertise in software development, including using Java, X-HTML, and Angular. You Have:

• 10+ years of experience with software design and development
• 5+ years of experience with ServiceNow development, including core ITSM tables, Glide, scripting, business rules, client scripts, data imports, custom apps, and development methods
• Experience with leading technical components of ServiceNow ITSM implementations
• Experience with managing and mentoring ServiceNow dev team members
• Experience with ServiceNow ITSM development and integration, including application portfolio management
• Experience in working with Web technologies, including JavaScript, Ajax, HTML, and CSS
• Ability to obtain a security clearance
• BA or BS degree
• Ability to obtain a Security+ CE Certification within 60 days of start date

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies and participating in the software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Experience with requirements management and Jira or similar RTM platforms
• Experience with creating quick proof-of-concepts for the customer
• Experience with coordinating between cross-functional teams
• Experience with AWS or Azure
• Experience with other ITSM platforms, including Remedy
• Security+ CE Certification
• ITIL v3 Foundations or ServiceNow Certification, including Certified Application Developer, Certified System Administrator, or Certified Implementation Specialist
