A key part of a Property Manager’s job is to deliver a great experience to their tenants. In particular, tenants expect their maintenance issue to be fixed rapidly. For a Property Manager this means being available at all times, triaging and troubleshooting the issue and coordinating with tenants, maintenance techs, and owners to fix it. This is a daunting task when managing thousands of units. Our mission is to create an AI solution that helps Property Managers rapidly and reliably handle maintenance issues at scale.

As an Engineering Manager/Director – AI, you will lead a team of passionate full-stack and ML software engineers working to further develop and improve our Maintenance AI offering. You will work closely with leaders in Product and UX to help your team deliver products that delight our customers. You will have the opportunity to impact many people in their day to day life by helping our customers handle the millions of maintenance issues they receive every month. What you will do:

• Define and deliver ambitious goals with your team and peers.
• Partner with product managers to drive the product prioritization and software development roadmap for your team.
• Lead, coach and support a highly effective team of passionate engineers.
• Work with and empower Software Engineers on your team to design and deliver reliable services to delight our customers.
• Recruit a diverse team of industry-best engineers, from sourcing to closing
• Foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, speed, innovation, and technical excellence

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
• 3+ years of experience building, leading, managing and mentoring high-performance engineering teams
• Experience building and delivering ML-based products.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven track record of collaborating with product and UX to rapidly launch new products and iterate on existing ones.
