About the Role

Gusto is seeking a Recruiting Coordinator Lead to join the Recruiting team. This individual will play an integral part in guiding a dynamic and highly skilled team of Recruiting Coordinators to ensure that best practices are in place to provide an innovative, world-class recruiting experience. The RC Lead will also provide mentorship, guidance and career development to members of the team.

Here’s what you’ll do day-to-day:

• Build and empower a high performing, representative, and inclusive team of Recruiting Coordinators across our San Francisco, Denver and New York offices, removing day-to-day blockers, assessing performance, and coaching growth
• Execute on a performance management matrix and career development plan in partnership with the Head of Recruiting Operations and Programs
• Plan and recommend resource alignment and workload across the RC team using data to reinvent the ways in which we distribute workload to support the Recruiting team
• Create effective partnerships with stakeholders and recruiting leadership to identify current and future scheduling challenges and create plans to overcome them
• Enhance our team bond by bridging our dynamic team across all locations

Here’s what we’re looking for:

• 5+ year(s) of recruiting, HR, operations, and/or customer service experience
• 1+ year(s) mentoring, leading, developing and empowering employees, ideally early career talent
• Demonstrates Gusto’s leadership principles: Builds the Team, Drives the Business, Self Awareness
• An operational mindset. You enjoy thinking of ways to elevate and scale processes that will create efficiency while also improving our level of service for our stakeholders.

Our cash compensation amount for this role is targeted at $78,000-$128,000/year in Denver & most remote locations, and $94,000-$151,000/year for San Francisco & New York. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed above.
