Job Description

The Early Careers team drives growth by recruiting and hiring the world’s best early in career talent. We’re looking for an Associate Recruiter to join our team in Chicago, Illinois. The Early Careers team handles all hiring globally for new graduate full-time employees, interns and apprentices as well as leading programs that focus on building a diverse base of talent at Expedia Group.

What You Will Do:

  • Own the end-to-end recruiting process for early careers portfolio with focus on a defined business division and / or product focus (intern, grad or apprentice) delivering demand ​
  • Own relationships with attraction channels to ensure robust engagement and healthy candidate pipeline – i.e campus, vendor, student group, non for profit, etc.
  • Plan and execute attraction / pipelining strategies, building scale for future roles with a focus I&D pipelines
  • Manage Campus Teams of Expedians on campus, via interviews, etc.
  • Facilitate intake meetings, assessment centers, interview processes with hiring managers to ensure alignment on identifying the top candidates in the talent pool​
  • Facilitate intern conversion process to ensure return on investment of internship program is fully realized
  • Assess applicant/candidate quality, skills and fit to identify the best candidate for a position​
  • Maintain effective relationships with candidates through the recruiting process including negotiating offers​
  • Educate hiring managers on strategy by using internal and external data / benchmarking
  • Act as an ambassador of Expedia Group, demonstrating and articulating our values, work environment, business strategies and benefits​
  • Champion Inclusion & Diversity by challenging colleagues and partners to drive improved representation​

Who You Are:

  • Experience recruiting for technical and / or non-technical roles (preferred) or subsequent experience in Human Resources
  • Ability to travel 25-30% throughout the year
