The Internship

Only active students (undergraduate or graduate programs) or recent graduates (within 6 months of applying) will be considered for the internship.

The paid internship will be entirely remote in light of COVID-19 and with your health and safety in mind. There will be extensive programming accommodated for a virtual environment, so you can make the most of your time at Bleacher Report and learn the ins-and-outs of our exciting industry alongside your fellow interns.

Our 10-week summer internship program will kick off June 7th and commence on or before August 13th.

The Team

B/R STUDIO MISSION

Establish a cadence of appointment storytelling worth the most prime real estate in our app, on our social feeds, and out to market. Nurture B/R's positioning as a premium brand through best-in-class sports-culture content on a consistent timeline, while laying the groundwork for sponsorable, brand-organic events that can be sold/activated/franchised.

B/R STUDIO VISION

Be player-friendly. Make audiences know and care more about athletes. Be the platform where players get to show their personalities. Focus on topics we know are of interest to players and our audience.

BR STUDIO DEVELOPMENT TEAM

The Development Team is comprised of Creative Executives who work closely with our Portfolio Brand leads to develop and strategize “long form” video content that will resonate with our audience and build each brand to have a distinct voice.

The Daily

• Attend meetings with Programming
• Create decks with content mandates
• Join and participate in brainstorms and other creative meetings
• Pitch their own ideas, and attend feedback sessions
• Take part in casting meetings, give suggestions for Talent
• Join pre-production meetings
• Attend shoots (depending on COVID-19 protocol)
• Give notes on content cuts
• Help deliver final deliverables to the Programming team for posting

The Essentials

• Studying media production or a similar discipline
• Interest in digital programming strategy
• Desire to produce and work behind the camera
• Experience with Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Premiere, etc)
• Awareness of Bleacher Report’s voice and content
• Any kind of self produced digital content is a bonus!
