<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 300;"><span style="font-weight: 300;">Understand the existing mainframe applications and its ecosystem and provide inputs in the form of Functional Requirements</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 300;"><span style="font-weight: 300;">Analyse the data stores and provide as data requirement</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 300;"><span style="font-weight: 300;">Involved in planning and execution of mainframe migration efforts from assessment, discovery, planning,&nbsp; testing to the migration delivery, and modernization phases</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 300;"><span style="font-weight: 300;">Coming up with test strategy for parallel testing</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 300;"><span style="font-weight: 300;">Being hands on and making REST APIs available for data migration and testing efforts</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 300;"><span style="font-weight: 300;">Developing REST APIs for data migration and testing efforts&nbsp;</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 300;"><span style="font-weight: 300;">Develop interfaces to web based applications interacting using MQs, XMLs, FTPs</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 300;"><span style="font-weight: 300;">Collaborate with leads and products developers to plan and execute work</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 300;"><span style="font-weight: 300;">Manage relationships with different stakeholders across geographies</span></li> </ul> <p><strong>Experience</strong></p> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 300;"><span style="font-weight: 300;">10+ years of hands-on technical experience with mainframe technologies such as COBOL, JCL, CICS, Eztrieve, DB2 for z/OS, Assembler, IMS-DB/DC, PL/I, Java, Rexx, GDGs, and VSAM</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 300;"><span style="font-weight: 300;">Exposure to version control tools like Endevor, ChangeMan</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 300;"><span style="font-weight: 300;">Hands on experience in developing batch and online programs</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 300;"><span style="font-weight: 300;">Experience in building applications that interact with web based applications using connectors and adaptors</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 300;"><span style="font-weight: 300;">Experience with tools and methodologies used to migrate mainframe workloads via hardware/middleware emulation, automated code conversion, and replatforming</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 300;"><span style="font-weight: 300;">Experience with analyzing mainframe applications and data stores to formulate plans for modernizing workloads that achieve customer’s desired business outcomes</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 300;"><span style="font-weight: 300;">Experience being a technical lead executing phase wise mainframe migration efforts from conception to delivery&nbsp;</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 300;"><span style="font-weight: 300;">Current hands-on implementation experience required</span></li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Other preferred qualities -</strong></p> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 300;"><span style="font-weight: 300;">Organised and attention to detail.&nbsp;</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 300;"><span style="font-weight: 300;">Empathetic and considerate around cultural differences and nuances.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 300;"><span style="font-weight: 300;">Good communication skills.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 300;"><span style="font-weight: 300;">Be inquisitive and open to learn.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 300;"><span style="font-weight: 300;">Strong project management and project coordination skills</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 300;"><span style="font-weight: 300;">Able to work across the business and establish cross-functional relationships.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 300;"><span style="font-weight: 300;">Flexible, with an ability to execute well in a fast-paced, evolving environment.</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-weight: 300;">#LI-INDIA</span></p>
