With over 3,500 remote Stylists across the US & UK, our Styling organization is the heartbeat of Stitch Fix. One Fix and one Client at a time, our Stylists are the front line in creating the experience that Stitch Fix is known for, personalized and effortless style. Our team of Stylists do this through curated Fixes, helping each Client find what they love.

As a Field Leader, you will grow, develop and inspire a diverse team of 25-50 remote Stylists in the Greater London Styling Region. Working remotely and in office, you will build awareness of Stitch Fix and the Stylist position, own hiring and onboarding of new Stylists, celebrate and coach Stylists to meet performance targets, support the larger Styling community, and foster an amazing culture....all while styling our Clients, too! You will create and grow a team environment that keeps the Client at the forefront and delivers an amazing Client experience. Field Leader is a full time salaried position.

You're excited about this opportunity because you will...

Manage, develop and inspire a team of Stylists

  • Directly manage a team of 25-50 remote, part-time Stylists, who are relentlessly focused on the Client experience
  • Develop and actively manage your team’s performance to meet our Client and efficiency metrics; create and execute personalized performance management plans
  • Teach and coach your team in styling best practices to improve the Client experience and outcomes
  • Own team operational functions including approving hours, time off requests, schedule compliance
  • Host office hours and other opportunities for Stylists to engage, learn, develop and grow
  • Celebrate team successes and recognize individual achievements
  • Create an engaging and rewarding employee experience for our Stylists
  • Plan and host regional styling events and execute regional events strategy
  • Be available for your team by working standard business hours (M-F, 9am-5:30pm, inclusive with a one hour break) with availability on occasional nights and weekends as needed

Scale the Greater London Styling Region

  • Be a brand ambassador and build awareness of Stitch Fix and the Stylist position
  • Recruit, interview and assess Stylist candidates to build a talented, passionate and Client focused styling organization
  • Build a talent pipeline within your team of Stylists and participate in talent planning discussions for your region

Be a leader in the Styling Organization

  • Be a key partner in assessing future talent within your region including developing, assessing, interviewing and onboarding new Leads
  • Work on large cross functional project teams that impact the broader styling team
  • Build community, best practice sharing and collaboration within team and across the larger Stylist team
  • Share learnings, insights, ideas and best practices with others regularly
  • Attend Styling Team Lead trainings and events, bringing our Stitch Fix culture to life
  • Model the Stitch Fix mission and values

Style Fixes and be a Client Advocate

  • Personally style Stitch Fix Clients using our online styling platform; building relationships with Clients through personalized notes and curated wardrobe solutions
  • Keep the Client at the forefront in communications and bring our Client mission to life for your team

We’re excited about you because...

  • You have a Bachelor's degree or relevant equivalent with 5+ years experience working directly with customers or in customer service
  • You have 3+ years of people leadership experience working with large teams; remote leadership experience being a benefit
  • You have a proven history of building strong teams, driving results through your teams, and developing future leaders
  • You have the ability to independently make sound business decisions
  • You are relentlessly focused on the Client experience - Clients and people are the focus of everything you do and this is reflected in the teams you build
  • You take every opportunity to connect with your team, including events on evenings and weekends
  • You are excited to travel locally within the Greater London Styling Region several times a month as needed for recruiting, interviews, trainings, leadership events and roadshows; you may also travel out of region for styling and leadership conferences
  • You are self motivated, detail-oriented, disciplined and organized and have a growth mindset
  • You are as exceptionally organized and you pride yourself that no one ever has to follow up with you twice
  • You are solutions-oriented and a problem solver, able to think creatively both in your work and in your leadership
  • You are comfortable navigating ambiguous situations and building nimble, resilient teams
  • Your verbal and written communication skills are unparalleled
  • You are tech savvy and comfortable with navigating Google products and various social media apps and websites
  • Above all else, you are bright, kind and goal-oriented and demonstrate it through your leadership
